I joined Sandias, Inc. in 2019. Leveraging my extensive knowledge of BL media—spanning comics, novels, and drama CDs—I began my career as a writer for the BL information site “Chil-Chil.”

Later, I expanded my role to cover diverse areas such as sales, marketing, and event operations. Currently, I lead major initiatives such as the “BL Award,” while also providing consulting services for companies looking to enter the BL market.

I started my career as a BL comic editor at the former Biblos (now Libre) immediately after graduation. Later, at Enterbrain (now KADOKAWA), I led the editorial direction for female-oriented comics for many years, including launching the BL label “B’s-LOVEY COMICS” and the otome label “B’s-LOG COMICS,” contributing to the genre’s growth from a creator’s perspective.

In 2017, I shifted my focus to the digital book industry. I gained practical experience on the distribution side—delivering content to readers—by managing “Rakuten Manga” at Rakuten, and later overseeing store operations for “Book Pass” and “Reader Store” at Booklista.

Since joining viviON, Inc. in August 2023, I have been pursuing the potential of female-oriented content by leveraging my dual experience in both “creating” and “selling,” spanning doujin, commercial publishing, and digital distribution.

In 2004, I formed the theater production group “Kuroji” with Misato Fukuen. After leaving the voice acting agency Genki Project in 2010, I began working as a freelancer.

I have been actively involved in various initiatives, including elementary school theater programs and multicultural communication programs led by the Kani Public Arts Center (ala) in Gifu Prefecture, where I collaborated with directors from the Bungakuza theater company.

Since 2017, I have served as the producer for “CHILL CHILL BOX,” a BL reading event presented by Sandias, Inc., overseeing the planning for all performances.

I served as the Director of the Tokiwaso Project starting in 2010, worked as the Secretariat for the launch of the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair in 2012, and launched the website “Man-navi” in 2017. Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous planning and operational roles for manga-related businesses.
In March 2024, I established the MANGA Research Institute (General Incorporated Association), which serves as the operating body for IMART (International Manga Anime Relation Trade, launched in 2019), and I took on the position of Representative Director.
Currently, I am working to develop IMART into a global manga and anime conference, while also aiming to establish an annual IP market survey for the industry.
