Behind the diverse array of works that evolve with the times, there are always editors tirelessly supporting the creative process.

In this session, we welcome three up-and-coming to mid-career editors who have been behind recent hit titles:

Takuto Miyakawa (Shogakukan, Weekly Shonen Sunday Editorial Dept.), who launched titles such as Red Blue.

Ryuta Yoshinaga (Hakusensha, Young Animal Editorial Dept.), who launched Doka-Gui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san.

Hiroyuki Endo (Number Nine Editorial Dept.), who launched Kamichi no Kyuseishu (God’s Blood Savior).

Moderating the session will be the active manga writer, Chanmei.

Takuto Miyakawa

I joined Shogakukan Inc. in 2016. Since my first year, I have worked as an editor for Weekly Shonen Sunday and Sunday Webry.

My past representative works include MAJOR 2nd and Boku ga Shinu Dake no Hyakumonogatari.

Currently, I oversee Red Blue and Aga Kimi Chiruramu for Weekly Shonen Sunday, as well as Aitsu no Kanojo, Tonari no Seki no Yatsu ga Souiu Me de Mite Kuru, and Techno Panic Universe for Sunday Webry.

Hiroyuki Endo

I joined Number Nine in 2021 as a manga editor. In 2022, I was involved in the launch of our Webtoon studio. Currently, I primarily oversee Webtoon titles aimed at male audiences. Outside of work, my hobbies are Hello! Project and solo camping. My key works include God’s Blood Savior (Kamichi no Kyuseishu), Ore Dake Saikyo Choetsusha, The Return of the Genius Sword Saint (Kaette Kita Tensai Kensei), God of Killers, and Rise of the Aristocrat’s Second Son (Kizoku Jinan no Nariagari).

Yuta Yoshinaga

I joined Hakusensha, Inc. in 2015 and was assigned to the Hana to Yume Editorial Department. Since 2019, I have been working in the Young Animal Editorial Department. My past editorial works include Oresama Teacher, Skip Beat!, Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoshi, and Yurayura Q. Currently, I oversee titles such as March Comes in Like a Lion (3-gatsu no Lion), Doka-Gui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san, Animal Human (Doubutsu Ningen), The Demon King’s Daughter is Too Kind!! (Maou no Musume wa Yasashisugiru!!), and Family Plan.

Chanmei

I began my career in 2019 writing and reporting for “alu,” a manga information service founded by entrepreneur Kensuke Furukawa. Currently, I specialize in book reviews, columns, and author interviews. My work appears in major media outlets such as Comic Natalie, Da Vinci Web, and Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits and Big Comic Superior. In addition to writing, I served as a selector for Takarajimasha’s “Kono Manga ga Sugoi!” (This Manga is Amazing!) in 2024 and 2025, and as the 4th-term MC for the radio program “Radilove!” on Bunka Hoso Cho! A&G+.
