Born in 1979. I earned an MBA in Accounting from Hosei University’s Graduate School of Innovation Management.
In 2009, I formed “Manganight,” a unit focused on fostering communication through manga. In 2020, I established the General Incorporated Association Manganight, where I lead initiatives to promote “Manga and Learning,” operate facilities (supported by The Nippon Foundation), and manage exhibition projects.
I currently serve in multiple roles, including Representative of Rainbow Bird LLC, a planning agency specializing in the manga field; Representative Director of the Saito Takao Gekiga Cultural Foundation; Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Manga at Tokyo Polytechnic University’s Faculty of Arts; and Auditor for the Japan Society for Studies in Cartoons and Comics.
My co-authored books include How to Build the Strongest Business Team Learned from ONE PIECE (Shueisha) and 100 Educational Manga for Life and Study (Bungeishunju).
